Galapago
Overview
What Galapago does.
Galapago is a decentralised, non-custodial NFT liquidity protocol. Holders borrow crypto instantly against their NFTs, or NFTs and crypto together, as collateral.
It set out to be the first peer-to-pool NFT lending platform on Algorand, and took its roadmap to the community through the xGov governance program.

Why we backed it
The case for Galapago.
NFTs held in a wallet are idle capital. Lending against them turns a collectible into a balance-sheet asset, and pooled lending prices that risk faster than one-to-one offers can.
It fit the selection test: a team building full-time, a problem that exists without the chain, and a clear reason the chain makes the product possible.
